With clarity and strategic insight, Marc guides employers through complex workplace issues and disputes.
Marc is a highly respected labour, employment and human rights lawyer. Prior to founding Protea LLP, Marc spent more than a decade working tirelessly with clients at a large national firm. A seasoned advocate, Marc has appeared before various courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as numerous arbitrators and tribunals across Ontario and in the federal sector.
Marc formerly served as Director of Policy to Ontario’s Minister of Labour, playing a pivotal role in shaping transformative workplace legislation. Marc applies this unique perspective in advising clients on the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
Beyond the courtroom, Marc is a builder of communities. He has founded and lead national LGBTQ2S+ legal networks, served as President of the StFX Alumni Association and was a member of its Board of Governors.
His counsel is trusted by clients. His approach is practical, people-focused, and grounded in strong, principled advocacy.
